Sumoteks was founded in Istanbul in 1998. Since its establishment, it has specialized in the production of high-quality knitwear for babies and children, achieving a reliable and reputable position in the industry. Going beyond meeting customer expectations, it has made it a principle to make a difference with innovative solutions and a sustainable production approach.
In 2021, we further increased our production capacity by bringing our cutting, printing, sewing, and packaging operations under one roof with our semi-integrated production facility that began operations in Gölcük, Kocaeli. With this investment, we reached a monthly production capacity of 550,000 units, taking our operational efficiency and quality control processes to the next level.
Today, Sumoteks ranks among the leading manufacturers in baby and children's clothing and operates as a trusted production partner for many prestigious brands on a global scale. Thanks to our self-sufficient supply infrastructure, we offer our business partners integrated support throughout all stages of production, from design to shipment.
Design and Strong Supply Chain: By collaborating with our solution partners and Europe-based design offices, we contribute to our partners' unique and trend-focused collection development processes. This enables Sumoteks to be a strategic business partner for global brands not only in production but also in design. Through the same solution partnerships, we have access to integrated production facilities both domestically and internationally, giving us the flexibility to increase our production capacity by an additional 1.5 million units as needed.
